Corporate Christmas Gifts: A Simple Guide for PAs & Office Managers

Luxury corporate Christmas gift box with Moët, Jo Malone and Hotel Chocolat from The Hamper Co

If you've just been asked to "sort the Christmas gifts" for your clients or team, this guide is for you. Corporate gifting often lands on the desk of a PA or office manager in November, usually with a budget, a list of names and not much time. I'm Natalie, founder of The Hamper Co, and I want to make it the easiest job on your list.

Here's everything you need to know about choosing and ordering luxury corporate Christmas gifts, from staff thank-yous to VIP client hampers.

Step 1: Set your budget per person

Most businesses split their list into three groups:

  • Team and staff gifts: usually under £100 each.
  • Client thank-yous: usually £100 to £300.
  • VIP clients and key partners: £300 and above, for the relationships that matter most.

Knowing the group helps you choose the right gift quickly, and makes it easy to get your budget signed off.

A tip on staff gifts: under HMRC's trivial benefits rules, a gift costing £50 or less per employee can usually be given free of tax and National Insurance, with nothing to report. It mustn't be cash or a reward for work or performance, so do check with your accountant. That's why we created the Hawkstone Lager & Luxury Christmas Treats Gift Box at £49.50, delivered free, with two Hawkstone Lagers, Cartwright & Butler brandy mince pies, Christmas chutney and flatbreads.

Add your company branding

On orders of 10 or more, we can add your logo to the hamper sleeve, liner, gift box or gift message. You'll get a free digital proof to approve first. Please allow two weeks for branded orders.

Save on larger orders

  • 10 or more gifts: 5% off
  • 25 or more gifts: 10% off

You can pay by card or by bank transfer on invoice. We're not VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add on top.

Delivery made easy

Send us your list of names and addresses and we'll deliver each gift straight to the recipient's door, or send everything to one office if you'd rather hand them out. Every gift comes with free tracked UK delivery and a personal gift message.

Christmas deadlines

  • Monday 30 November: branded orders
  • Tuesday 15 December: personalised gift boxes
  • Thursday 17 December: standard hampers and gift boxes

December is our busiest month, so the earlier you get in touch, the easier it is for everyone.

Your quick checklist

  1. Agree a budget per person for staff, clients and VIPs.
  2. Choose one or two gifts for each group.
  3. Decide whether you want branding (10+ orders).
  4. Gather names, addresses and gift messages in a spreadsheet.
  5. Get in touch for your quote before the deadlines.
